
TAMARA VENTER
LEAD TEACHER & COMPETITIVE COACH
Tamara Venter is a motivated and passionate graduating student of Monarch Studios, with extensive experience in dance performance, teaching, and leadership. She brings a strong technical foundation across multiple styles; including ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary, paired with a creative and disciplined approach to teaching.

Tamara holds RAD Intermediate Ballet Award, ISTD Advanced 1 Modern, and ISTD Advanced 1 Tap qualifications. She is also a certified Artistic Gymnastics Coach with over three years of experience coaching children, which enriches her understanding of movement, conditioning, and class engagement.

Her teaching journey includes roles at Monarch Studios and the Susan Robinson School of Ballet, where she has taught both group and private lessons, led warm-ups, and prepared students for performances and exams. She is known for her ability to create positive, structured class environments, give clear and encouraging corrections, and adapt her teaching to diverse learning styles.

As Dance Captain at Monarch Studios for two consecutive years and a team leader in both dance, acro and gymnastics contexts, Tamara has developed strong leadership and mentoring skills. Her students have seen measurable success, including progression to elite squads and national competition wins.

Tamara’s achievements include representing England at the Dance World Cup, earning a scholarship to Bird College Summer School, and being named Miss StarPower Runner-Up. In 2025, her final year as a PrePro Dance with Monarch Studios - Tamara won Titles at Hotshot, Level Up and Aaron Dwyer Dance Competitions and received a Distinction in her Grade 8 Singing Exam. Tamara has trained at prestigious institutions such as Bird College and Urdang Academy, and competed internationally in both dance and gymnastics.
