Lead Teacher & Ballet Specialist

Caroline began dancing at the age of three and studied RAD Ballet and ISTD Modern, Tap and Jazz to Advanced 2 levels, gaining excellent grades throughout. At thirteen she started attending weekly classes at​ the Northern Ballet School in Manchester and at seventeen she ​moved to London to train vocationally at The Urdang Academy, Covent Garden, after being awarded an Arts Council scholarship. There she had the opportunity to work with some of the top choreographers in the industry and to perform at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall.  Caroline began to work professionally in the second year after being spotted by an agent during a college show.

After three years she graduated with a National Diploma in Professional dance and Musical theatre. Caroline had a professional dance career of twelve years and it was extremely varied; performing in the Commercial, Musical Theatre, Corporate, Cruise and Cirque industries as both a soloist and ensemble.  A few examples  include the Rock musical 'Falco meets Amadeus' touring Germany and Austria, Dancer for the classical pianist Maksim Mrvica , over ten years performing for the company Bond Performance at celebrity and corporate events in the UK and overseas in themed shows such as: Chicago, Moulin Rouge, The Rat Pack and Latin Fever. A UK tour in Spirit of the Dance, several Pantomimes, Music Videos and other TV appearances including Children In Need BBC1, Britain's got Talent ITV 1, Britain’s Got More Talent ITV 2, Everybody Dance Now ITV 1, Top of the Pops Saturday BBC2, and The Panto Set C4.  Lat​er​ Caroline performed as part of the Cirque team ‘Enchantment’.  Alongside dance she also filmed ​TV ​commercials, spent two years presenting travel and news for Surrey’s 107.8 Fm Radio Jackie and worked as a background artist for television.

Between dance contracts Caroline continued to train weekly at Pineapple Dance Studios, Danceworks and Dance Attic in London.  She has also taken classes at Broadway Dance Centre in NYC.

Caroline began teaching Part time whilst still performing and has taught at several schools across England. She has choreographed for many shows and competitions as well as coached children for exams in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap. In 2008 Caroline decided to expand her skill set by studying for a degree at the Arts Educational

School in London. She graduated with a BA Hons in Performance Studies. In 2012 Caroline got married and decided to get formal teaching qualifications. She was accepted onto the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma course at the Royal Academy of Dance Headquarters in London. In her second week on the course she discovered that she was expecting her first child and six weeks later was told it was actually identical twins!​

She continued to study whilst pregnant, graduated with Distinction and became a registered teacher for the RAD. Caroline gave birth to her twin daughters in 2013 and took a break from her career to immerse herself in motherhood.  

​Two​ years later and Caroline has just given birth to a baby boy bringing her total to three​ children in two​ years. Satisfied that her little family is now complete, Caroline is returning to indulge her passion for dance and continue teaching on a part​-t​ime basis.

Caroline is delighted to be joining Monarch Studios and looks forward to growing with the school as her children grow up.
